At the heart of the new issue is the customer story featuring High Food Tech from South Korea. The company from Geumsan-gun produces exclusively on behalf of other brands and pursues one clear goal: to become the reference operation of the South Korean co-manufacturing food industry. Four SEMIjet® systems, four smoke generators and one central exhaust air scrubber now enable a processing capacity of up to 40 metric tons per day. The project was realized together with Stern Co., Ltd., Schröter's exclusive representative in South Korea.
Another focus is Schröter's retrofit solution. Converting indirect heating from steam to pumped hot water reduces energy losses, cuts operating costs and makes alternative heat sources such as waste heat, combined heat and power units or solar thermal energy usable – for existing systems as well as for new projects. A sample calculation shows that savings of up to 40,000 euros can be achieved.
The issue also takes you into the Schröter Technical Center, where Kühlmann GmbH from Delbrück tested the thermal processing of new vegetarian toppings – from sweet potato and broccoli to pumpkin seeds. The results became the cornerstone of an investment decision for new Schröter systems.
